What's Left on the Right of our Life?

Scripture: Matthew 25:34-41

"Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 'For I was hungry, and you gave Me {something} to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me {something} to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me;

I was in prison, and you came to Me.' Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You {something} to drink? 'And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 'When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' "The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, {even} the least {of them,} you did it to Me.'

"Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Commentary:
Jesus is teaching about the judgment; and how the separation will begin of the sheeps from the goats. The sheeps will be put on his right, and the goats will be put on his left. Jesus Himself will separate those that are His from those that are not; based on how they occupied their time while on earth. Many of the deeds in which individuals conduct unknowingly will be considered of value by Jesus during the judgment, and they will be put on His right. Individuals that did not perform the so called minimal actions during their tenure on earth, will be put on the left side of Jesus.

Reference:
Maintaining a lifestyle that is pleasing to God is accessible to everyone, by putting our hope and trust in His Son Jesus Christ. When we trust Him daily, and act on what He says for us to do; we operate on the right side of the spectrum of life. However, if we make a conscious decision to function on the left side of the spectrum of life, than we consciously choose to conduct ourselves in a way that is not pleasing to Him. What's Left on the Right side of our Life is determined by the daily choices that we make? A lifestyle distinguishable from it's opposite, determines which side we will be on.

Prayer:
Thank you for the understanding that you have given me into your word. I thank you that you continually give me wisdom to operate on the right side of the spectrum of life, and to steer clear of those that operate on the left. I thank you for direction in every step that I take to use me for your glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.
