The Outcry of Our Hearts

Scripture: Exodus 14:14

"The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent."

Commentary:
God uses Moses to bring His people out of bondage and oppression from under the hand of Pharaoh. He delivers His people from their enemy, right in front of their very eyes. The miracle that God performed right in the midst of the people, showed them how powerful God truly was; and that they did not need to be afraid of the enemy any longer. God brought the people of Israel out with a strong hand, and destroyed the power of the enemy at the same time.

When God makes a promise to us that He is going to do something; we do not have to fight the enemy for our promise. God has already fought the enemy and won. We can stand on our belief, and trust in God to bring the promise right in front of our very eyes, so that we will believe what He has spoken, and glorify Him for who He is; and What He has done.

Reflection:
God is so merciful, that when we cannot see our way out of a situation, He will make a way for us; even if we are unable to speak a word. Some situations are so devastating that we cannot come up with the words to even pray to God. Some circumstances are so crippling to our emotions that only God can deliver us. When our hearts are so overloaded that we cannot even speak; God himself will fight for us! He will hear the outcry of our hearts, and deliver us to our destiny; inspite of the bondage that tries to hold us in captivity, and despite the oppression of the enemy.

When we feel that we are being treated unfairly by someone that we are working for, or with; God will see both sides of the story, and will take care of the situation fairly. If we indeed are being treated unfairly, God himself will change the situation around in our favor. God will often bless us through the hands of another person, so that we do not lack anything. We should always keep on our minds the fairness of God, so that we do not react to something the wrong way.

Prayer:
Abba Father, I thank you for fighting for me. I thank you for protecting me from the plan of the enemy to take my life. I thank you for your grace and mercy upon me to fulfill your purpose for my life. I thank you for keeping me in remembrance, that you are my defense; and that nothing will ever be able to pluck me out of your hand. I give you glory, and praise, and honor, for who you are, and what you have already done.
