Transformed In His Presence

Scripture: Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect (Amplified, 1999).

The Word of God encourages us to become more like our heavenly Father through the renewing of our minds. In order for us to transform and/or change the way that we think, or act, believe, and or treat others, we must first spend quality time meditating on the Word of God.

If we do not know where to begin, we can ask God to show is where He would like us to start. We should not become discouraged if we do not know how to start, because God will show us how. The Word of God is available to us so that we can become more like Christ on a daily basis. Becoming like Christ is not an overnight process. It will take investment of our time, our hearts and our minds.

But if we are serious about our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ; making quality time with Him will become more and more of a blessing as we continue in His Word.  As we continue in His Word, He will show us ourselves, and help us to become more like Him.

The transformation of our minds will begin as we learn more and more about His nature, His desire, His Will and His Plan for our lives.  The transformation of our minds need not be a daunting task whatsoever; but a time of renewal, restoration and peace in the presence of our heavenly Father, and His beloved Son.
  • How is our mind renewed by the Word of God?
  • What does it mean to prove what the will of God is?
  • How can we know that we are becoming more like our Father God?
