For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
We are God's handiwork, created in the Lord Jesus Christ to be productive citizens of society, whether that be operating a business as the CEO, or working with our own hands in an industry of our heart's desire. All that we put our hands to should glorify God, as well as be an example to others of what God can do through us. We may not necessarily have year's of training in a particular field, and/or credentials to certify our skill level; nevertheless, God is yet glorified, because He is the one that perfects the skill within us.
Having credentials such as Paul the Apostle had, is a good idea, but we should never rely on credentials to validate the God-given ability that He has placed within us. There is nothing that can replace the anointing of the Holy Ghost operating in our lives to accomplish what we in ourselves do not have the ability to accomplish. Reliance on our creator is the key to fulfilling our purpose in life, toward producing good works for His glory.
We should never make excuses as to why we are not being productive citizens of society, but we should look for opportunities to bless others, whether in word or deed. If we have a sincere desire to fulfill the purpose of God in our lives, He will open doors of opportunity for us in order to be an example for Him.
- What doors of opportunity have opened for you lately?
- What doors of opportunity are you praying for God to open?
- Do you believe God will open doors of opportunity for you?
If we ask God to open doors of opportunity for us, whether they be business, personal or otherwise; we must be ready to walk forward, and not let fear prevent us from moving into our God-ordained destiny.
If we allow fear to block our path, we cheat our ownselves out of an abundant life in Christ.
