Scripture John 9: 1-3
As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth, and His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind? Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
Many times when we experience a setback or some type of delay in our lives, we feel that it may be something that we have personally done to prevent us from receiving what has been promised to us. This is when the enemy will try to come in an discourage us from believing the promises of God; by planting seeds of doubt, and unbelief.
This doubt and unbelief can come into our minds: or it can come in an email, or through a phone call that we receive; or from a loved one who does not understand our situation. However, we must remember, that no matter what, all the promises of God are yea and amen; not maybe.
God is not double-minded in anything that He speaks. If He gave you a promise, you can believe He will bring it to pass. It is also important that we remember that the promise(s) that God has made to us, are not based on anything that we do, or don't do; because God would not get the glory, if we had anything to do with it. His promises are based on who He is, and rooted in the foundation of His unchangeable Word.
God is dependable, reliable, trustworthy, honest, loving, caring, faithful and solid in everything that He says. We can count on our heavenly Father to be who He says He is; and to do, what He says He will do! Regardless of what the outer appearance of things are; our belief level must remain intact to the One who created us; and not falter to the tricks and schemes of the enemy, to make us loose hope, and give up on our promise(s). Even when a situation looks as if the promise(s) will not manifest, God will turn the situation around for our good because we love Him, and He will be glorified in the breakthrough that He releases.
Reflection:
The Breakthrough is at the door, waiting for our unshakable faith to answer with full acceptance of the promise(s) manifesting in our lives. It is time for us to rise to the occasion, and receive all that has been promised to us, and not to be afraid of the miracles that God has already given to us; for His glory.
Live today like it's the last day of your life. Bless those around you. Love like you've never loved. Say what's on your heart; and do not be afraid of the response. Forgive as you have been forgiven, and maximize every minute of your day, by believing the promise(s) of God for your life.
